Which printers are compatible with Cashy-POS ?

General

• Printers with USB, Paralell or Serial interface can not be used with Cashy-POS

We testet Cashy-POS successfully with the following network connected printers :

• Epson TM-T88-III – Epson TM-T88-V
• Epson TM-T20-II
• Epson TM-T70-II
• Star Micronics TSP-100

We also support the following Bluetooth-Printers:

• Epson TM-T88V (Desktop-Model with Bluetooth-module für iOS)
  – Important: The Bluetooth-module can not be bought separately. Take care that you buy the right printer containing the word »iOS» in the title!
• Epson TM-P20 (portable printer with battery)
• Epson TM-P60 (portable printer with battery)
• Epson TM-P60 II
• Epson TM-P80 (portable printer with battery)
• Epson TM-m30 (Desktop-Model with Bluetooth)
• Star Micronics mPOP (drawer and printer combination)

Network- oder Bluetooth printer?

Advantages network printer

• Very reliable connection
• Faster printing and opening drawer
• A cash drawer can be connected to these printers
• Cheaper then Bluetooth printers

Disadvantages network printers

• Needs Ethernet cable to the WiFi-router
• Installation is more complex and requires basic network knowledge

Advantages Bluetooth printers

• Easy installation without cables and network
• Portable models available. Perfect for fairs, home selling, food trucks, etc.

Disadvantages Bluetooth-Printers

• Cash drawer can not be connected to portable models. Only desktop-models support this (TM-T88 & mPOP)
• Not really fast when printing receipt (1-2 seconds)
• More expensive then network printers
